Call Center Team Leader Jobs
A team leader in a call center is responsible for managing a team of call center representatives. Typical duties of a call center team leader include supervising and guiding team members, distributing leads to the team members, training new call center executives, conducting sales contests, motivating team members, taking care of administrative issues, handling leave and working hours reports, acting as interface between executives and the call center manager, calling customers, receiving escalated calls from team members and performing other tasks assigned by the call center manager. A team leader typically reports to a call center manager.
A team leader should have an associate\'s degree or a bachelor\'s degree. Excellent customer service skills are essential for a team leader position. Familiarity with MS Word and Excel may be required. Ability to lead and motivate people is essential for a team leader position.
