Immediate contract opportunity for Help Desk Technician with direct client in Middle River, MD. Trigyn's direct client has a long term contract assignment (12 Months ) for Help Desk Technician in Middle River, MD. IN-PERSON interview will be required. Responsibilities: â€¢ Communicates with all levels of customers â€¢ Installs and configures applications and other supported software packages â€¢ Performs basic troubleshooting and triage of computers via remote computer access and phone â€¢ Resolves routine issues and problems related to hardware and software â€¢ Creates tickets for all problems called into the Technology Helpdesk â€¢ Quickly escalates issues and problems that are not resolvable as necessary â€¢ Assists clients with resolving device related issues via telephone support â€¢ Helps determine technical needs of supported systems â€¢ Participates as team member on projects â€¢ Records activities in the service desk software system â€¢ Updates/Creates internal supported system documentation â€¢ Communicate technical issues, risks, and approaches to clients â€¢ Performs other duties as assigned. Required Skills: â€¢ Possession of a high school diploma or an appropriate equivalent, plus one year of experience in an inbound call center environment â€¢ Two years installing, configuring, maintaining, and trouble-shooting personal computers and related equipment, operating systems, and software applications, preferably in a large, multi-site agency. â€¢ Experience with remote troubleshooting preferred â€¢ Possession of a valid class C Maryland driver's license or an equivalent is required Desired Skills: â€¢ Possession of A (Remote Technician) and Network certification is preferred â€¢ Knowledge of computer operations and support â€¢ Skill in installing, configuring, maintaining, and trouble-shooting personal computers and related equipment â€¢ Skill in installing, configuring, maintaining, and trouble-shooting operating systems, software applications, and cabling components â€¢ Skill in providing technical assistance, guidance, and training to users of varying levels of skills and abilities â€¢ Skill in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships â€¢ Skill in effectively prioritizing assignments and tasks â€¢ Skill in communicating clearly and effectively â€¢ Ability to provide consistent quality customer service â€¢ Ability to deescalate customers â€¢ Ability to maintain confidential information.
