  The Director of Customer Care I is responsible for overseeing a call center for Pharmacy Prior Authorization. You will lead Managers, Customer Service Reps, and Pharmacy Technicians. You will direct an operation responsible for providing intake of Provider and Member requests via Phone, fax, and state of the art, industry leading, electronic channels.  Also accountable for ensuring change management and flawless execution on new client implementation and expansions.

Your other primary duties will include these key functions and more:

A member of the Pharmacy Operations Leadership team responsible for   partnering with other leaders and peers to set strategy, direction, and execution of the Pharmacy plan.

Manages the Prior Authorization call center team in one or more facilities within a 7 days/wk pharmacy business unit, responsible for planning, funding, scheduling, execution, and delivery of work performed by the team.

As a key member of the Pharmacy Prior Authorization team you will be responsible for ensuring appropriate staffing and training of associates to deliver high quality, high compliance, and high Provider/Member satisfaction. 

Additionally, developing short/long-term Operations objectives and while continuously monitoring and coaching and procedures to a team of managers to ensure these are met by staff     

Your leadership and direction will be used to encourage your staff  in their development and training.

Use your Prior Authorization and Customer Care knowledge to stay abreast of state/federal regulations.

Manage your annual operating budget within financial objectives and in a manner which ensures that service and goals are met. 

Job requirements

If this descriptions intrigues you, we require a BA/BS degree; 7 years leadership experience or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.

Professional/leadership experience; strategic planning, organizational, managerial and leadership skills required.

Operations/Customer Care, and/or Call Center experience required

Pharmacy and Medicaid or Medicare Part D experience preferred.
