Role Summary:

Hughes, a GE Company is currently hiring for a People Operations Team

Leader based in Houston, TX

Essential Responsibilities:

Assist employees with HR related inquiries via phoneand case management portal

Case management system monitoring and day to dayoperations

Support management of case load within the teamincluding but not limited to transferring and acting as first point ofescalation within the team

Support management in reporting including weekly caseclosure, backlog, and open case volume

Provide support in Standard Operating Procedureswriting and maintenance

Provide policy interpretation to team members, HR, andmanagers

Provide assistance to HR, managers and employees onpayroll and benefits related issues

Assist managers, employees and HR with self-serviceinquiries and troubleshooting

Provide support to other work teams as needed

Handle special projects as assigned by Supervisor

Detail oriented with a high level of professionalismand confidentiality

Must have flexibility to operate in a fast pacedenvironment with stringent deadlines and possess strong analytical,organizational and multi-tasking skills

Strong commitment to customer service

Must have the ability to work well with others anddemonstrate teamwork and leadership

Possess the ability to leverage interpersonal skillswhile working effectively with co-workers in a team-oriented environment

Expert computer skills including advanced knowledge of:MSOffice Word and Excel, Adobe Acrobat Standard and company-specificdatabases including but not limited to Knowledge Workspaces, Taleo, SAP,Achieve and Self Service

Must also have the capability to work within currentexternal vendor databases

Possess fundamental HR knowledge, skills and abilitiesincluding the practices and procedures related to all areas of employeetransactions

Ability to communicate effectively with peers, HR, andmanagement

Results oriented, self-disciplined and internallymotivated

Qualifications/Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree

Experience in a call center environment

Experience in HR Shared Services or customer facing
