Insurance Verifier \r ________________________________________\rPosition Purpose: \r• Contacts Insurance Agents and Carriers to validate insurance policies\r • Initiates appropriate actions resulting in satisfying the necessary verification efficiently and accurately. \r • Reports to Manager. \r ________________________________________\r Principle Duties & Accountabilities:\r • Work on Clients internal system to make in/out bound calls to verify insurance policies with Insurance Agents, Carriers and Consumers \r • Requests necessary correspondence on insurance policies requiring special handling under management’s direction. \r • Complete on line searches\r • Complete faxes requests \r • Establishes organization and maintains neatness of work area. \r • Ensures security of proprietary information including client specific documentation and any information concerning the company. \r • Other duties as required.\r • Applies a basic working knowledge of systems, procedures, customers and products to perform assigned functions\r • Follows standard procedures as set by department\r • May assist with implementing new procedures or standards\r • Updates and maintains Customer/Client information in the database\r________________________________________\rQualifications: \r• One to Three years experience in call center environment is preferred. \r • Will train if skills and experience are applicable. . \r • Call Center experience is favorable. \r • Must have Microsoft Excel experience \r • Must be physically capable and able to multi-task efficiently to complete job duties. \r • Basic proficiency with computers is required \r • Must be able to maintain zero complaints and maintain a high level of customer service and professionalism at all times.\r ________________________________________\r\rPhysical Requirements: \rThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
