Position Description: VPay is seeking full-time, customer focused individuals who have a passion for providing an outstanding service experience. The VPay Support Center was a finalist in the 2017 CCW Excellence Awards for “Best in Class Contact Center under 99 Seats”. The CCW Excellence Awards honor, recognize and promote individuals and teams who have made a commitment to driving superior contact center performance. The awards are dedicated to recognizing world-class thinking, creativity and execution across the full spectrum of contact center functions. Essential Functions: Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Take inbound calls and answer questions on product and service information Perform research functions including making outbound calls to validate provider contact information Identify and resolve customer issues Follow up on customer inquiries Research billing and payment issues Update database records as needed Competencies/Qualifications: Some college coursework or college degree preferred 1 years of call center experience preferred Understanding of HIPAA regulations a plus Ability to pass a background check Supervisory Responsibility: This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities, but could serve as a coach and mentor for other positions in the department. Work Environment: This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as laptop computers, photocopiers and desk phones. Physical Demands: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and ability to adjust focus. This would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bend or stand on a stool as necessary.
