The Representative on the Loan and Withdrawal Team will be responsible for processing all basic disbursement related items, and communicating with Agents, Clients and Service Representatives on a daily basis. Representative will also be responsible for reviewing cases that have Power of Attorney / Trust / or Divorce paperwork attached to the case and processing financial transactions accordingly.

 

Primary Responsibilities:

*Processes service requests related to disbursements of loans, dividends, partial withdrawals on New York Life products *Responds to 3rd party requests for information on products and benefits *Restores policies; reversing and updating financial transactions on policies *Reviews Trust, POAs and other court documents to confirm proper authorization to process transaction requested *Answers Agent and Policyholder calls, providing support and processing service requests related to the Life Disbursement Team  *Creating annual policy summaries from scratch, requiring manual calculations for established values

Qualifications:

*Associates, or Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent years of related experience; High School Diploma or GED required *1 year of customer service and/or call center experience required *Knowledge and experience in loan processing related to insurance products preferred *Working knowledge of Microsoft Office systems, and ability to type quickly and accurately (45 words per minute preferred)
