Your Role:

The purpose of this position is to support company efforts at relationship and knowledge building with our eBusiness Accounts.  Representatives are responsible for fulfilling corporate order processing requirements through a full range of ecommerce services, and responding to all non-technical customer service inquires. 

Team is responsible for a variety of tasks related to eOrdering and Support. Team will utilize a wide range of tools including but not limited to SAP, Accelerator, Chat, CRM, Phone etc.

Who you are: 

Resident experts on Sigma-Aldrich website order management functions. Second line of contact for Web Help Desk calls, providing customers with site “walk through” support and troubleshooting.

Record incidents of Sigma-Aldrich e-commerce systems and internet down-time or substandard performance. Drive e-commerce adoption with customers, and audit electronic order volume for issues.  Efficiently process customer service inquiries and purchase order requests.  Ensure service level and process consistency across a multi-site customer contact function.  Build relationships with internal/external departments to meet customer demands

Who You Are:

High school diploma or equivalent work experience.  Associate degree or BS/BA desirable.  2 year of customer service experience, preferably in a call center environment

1 year of working with Sigma-Aldrich business processes related to Customer Service, preferred

Creative problem solving,  analysis skills and strong PC skills

Ability to work well in a team environment

Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multi – task in a fast pace environment

High sense of urgency and ownership required & excellent communication skills
