Job Duties and Responsibilities
Manages/supervises and develops an effective staff: providing effective communication, leadership, guidance and resources.
Performs inventory and quality control checks within the warehouse. Assist in maintaining overall inventory cycle count process and procedures as well as quality control within the warehouse. Monitor employee activity to minimize company loss due to theft and damage to company property.
Utilize a personal computer or the warehouse management system to conduct warehouse operations, communicate with others, extract information and process reports. Maximize safety standards and ensure guidelines that provide a safe and clean work environment are followed.
Partner with DC Manager or Assistant Manager to coach and train DC personnel on how to meet and or exceed productivity standards. Direct the daily work activities of one or more employees within the warehouse (i.e., processing, returning and packing). Ensure daily compliance to performance metrics in the areas of: throughput, cost and customer service.
Responsible for maintaining overall inventory cycle count process and procedures and quality control within the warehouse as needed.
Configure and troubleshoot distribution center hardware to include bar code scanners, label printers, personal computers, pick tickets printers and sorter.
Responsible for coverage during off hours, weekends and holidays as business needs occur.
Scan in/out product received from and delivered to online customers. Receive and transfer product to/from vendors. Operate disk-testing machine as needed.
Perform cycle counts and inventory as directed. Process and resolve exception items such as missing labels, wrong product, etc as needed.
Sort and return incoming product from customers to assigned location. Prepare incoming product from vendors for rental. Process previously used product for disposition as needed.
Pull product for fulfillment of pick lists. Assist with packing and labeling outbound orders as needed.
Skills - Experience and Requirements:
Incumbent must be enthusiastic, energized by challenge, driven by data and collaborative. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite applications, including Outlook, Access, Excel, Power Point, Visio and Word. Effective written and oral communications skills and effective organization abilities are required. Incumbent must have the ability to handle multiple projects at once. Advanced managerial/supervisory experience.
High School diploma or equivalent is required. Associates degree is preferred.
Certifications and Licensure:
Current valid Driver’s License.
Minimum of one (1) year recent and related experience is required. Extensive experience in mass mailing, shipping and warehouse process and procedures. Experience in DVD and wireless products is preferred. Supervisory experience is preferred.

Frequent requirements may include:
communication by seeing, talking, listening and writing; and sitting, standing; walking; kneeling, grasping, lifting, pushing and pulling ( up to 500 lbs. with aid of equipment); and climbing stairs and ramps.
Occasional requirements may include:
standing; walking; squatting; kneeling; grasping; manipulating and lifting boxes up to 50 lbs. Equipment typically utilized frequently includes: forklifts, hand trucks, both hydraulic and manual, carts and other small equipment, including computer related items. Incumbent may be scheduled to work an alternate schedule to accommodate essential business needs routine travel by foot or automobile to alternate work/meeting locations, possibly during inclement weather.
Manages 1-9 employees when the DC Manager is not available.
