Other duties include documentation of calls, outreach calls to members, letters, light clerical. Fundamental Components:- Receiving and servicing incoming calls from health plan members and providers requesting information about health plan benefits and eligibility.- 85% of workday consists of scheduled phone time.- Schedule adherence, quality and dependability are measured toward performance goals.- Training in health insurance, Medicaid and call-center environment are provided.- Other duties that require the associate to be off the phones may be assigned, including light clerical work.- Position is full-time, Monday thru Friday, 8:30am to 5:00pm (Associate is expected to remain available until all calls are cleared from queue.)BACKGROUND/EXPERIENCE:-1-3 years of Call Center Experience is required.-Computer skills including Outlook, Microsoft Word, Excel is required. -Experience with Health Insurance/Medicaid is preferred.-Good oral and written communication skills.-Dependability and adherence to daily schedule.-Able to interact with customers in a professional and caring manner.-Professionally represent company at occasional off-site events EDUCATIONThe highest level of education desired for candidates in this position is a High School diploma, G.E.D. or equivalent experience.ADDITIONAL JOB INFORMATION- Comfortable work environment in convenient downtown location.- Fast-growing business segment of Internationally-recognized company. - Opportunities for growth within the company.- Benefits include health insurance, tuition reimbursement, paid vacation and 401k.- Ongoing training provided.- Opportunities to represent company at multiple Community Outreach events.
