Pay range for this opportunity is $15.00 to $16.00 per hour based on experience.\r

Job Summary\r
Responsible for handling inbound calls while delivering high quality customer service to Plan members, providers and Plan personnel in an efficient, effective and timely manner.\r
Responsibilities of this position will include but is not limited to the following duties:\r
\r
\r
\t\tDissemination of information regarding the Plan, benefit coverage and other necessary information.\r
\t\r
\t\tHandling and following up on member complaints or grievances, transportation requests, member or provider requests, eligibility confirmation, and other duties as required.\r
\t\r
\t\tAccurate, complete and correct documentation into the Client's data system regarding all issues and/or inquiries.\r
\t\r

\t\tPrefer Associate Degree or some college\r
\t\r
\t\tHigh School Diploma or GED a must\r
\t\r
\t\tMinimum three (3) years of call center / customer service experience in a medical or health insurance environment.\r
\t\r
\t\tMinimum two (2) years' HMO Health Maintenance Organization, or Medi-Cal / Medicare experience preferred.\r
\t\r
\t\tAbility to enter and retrieve data using automated systems\r
\t\r
\t\tAttention to detail and strong analytical skills\r
\t\r
\t\tAbility to work independently to identify issues and take corrective action, or escalate as appropriate\r
\t\r
\t\tAdaptability to change and ability to multi-task\r
\t\r
\t\tExcellent Reading comprehension skills and ability to find key information in guidelines and procedures\r
\t\r
\t\tComputer skills and proficiency with Microsoft tools (Word, Excel)\r
\t\r
\t\tExcellent verbal and written communication skills, including strong customer service skills\r
\t\r
\t\tKnowledge of medical plans and benefits.\r
\t\r
\t\tBilingual in Spanish preferred.\r
\t\r
\r
\r
