Job Summary:

Keystone Automotive Operations, Inc. (KAO) is currently recruiting for an Inside Sales Representative for our RV Division. This position is at our Linthicum, MD location. As Inside Sales Rep, you will be making and receiving calls to and from an established customer base, solicitation of business, selling and supporting marketing programs, introducing new products to customers, entering orders in DOS system, look up for parts and prices in the computer based cataloging system. You will pay a key role in providing superior customer service while increasing sales volume, attaining sales and marketing goals and maintaining an acceptable profit margin.

Essential Job Duties:

Know and clearly communicate KAO’s US Sales Mission Statement & Guiding Principles

Know your performance metrics. Know current performance vs. budget.

Net sales, Net margin, Outbound calling & general phone statistics, periodic promotional goals, etc.

Generates revenue by promoting sales of new and existing products.

Account Management: Initiates sales calls to existing customers to assess the need for replenishing inventories.

Conduct an in-depth analysis of jobber’s business (main business focus, # of employees, # of bays, installations, showroom size, competitive pressures, direct vendor relationships and any unique segment/retail/service needs)

Grow Targeted and Top 20 accounts … Outbound Calls and Action Plan

Identify growth lines, categories, initiatives, pricing actions, rebates and other value adders in an Action Plan for these customers …Review progress and next steps with RSM during regular Target Account reviews

Review Target Accounts with assigned Outside Salesperson (OSS) regularly to determine the coordinated next steps to grow the customer

Post extensive AS400 ‘F1’ notes with details of recent business conversations with customer and competitive details that may have been received during those conversations

Provides ongoing customer and technical service on existing accounts.

Processes orders – performs order entry (orders called in or received online), reviews orders for correct handling, pricing, quantities and shipping data.

Seek out opportunities for up-selling and price negotiation.

Informs customer of unit prices, shipping date, anticipated delays, and any additional information needed by customer.

Advises customer on substitution or modification of part when part requested is not available.

Dispatches delivery of orders, as necessary to comply with customer requests.

Observes changes in inventory so as to insure minimum stock levels.

Initiates and supports the continual improvement of LKQ and Keystone Automotive Industries, Inc. quality improvement system.

Answer all inbound calls routed to your phone

Resolve immediately, answer and place on hold or ask to call back …Voicemail is the last resort

Preferred Qualifications:

High School Diploma or G.E.D. equivalent

Some College coursework desired

One to two years Call Center, customer service, or route sales experience required.

Prior automotive experience and knowledge of automotive parts.

Must be able to communicate effectively and be a team player.

Must be able to convey product information and availability to customers.

Must have the flexibility to work various schedules, including weekends.
