Homans Associates is a leading distributor of HVAC equipment and supply products with locations throughout New England, New York, and New Jersey. This position reports directly to the Digital E-Commerce & Marketing Manager. Job Description The Digital Customer Care Representative\u00a0will work inside with the Digital E-Commerce & Marketing Department to provide support and service for both the company and its customers. It\u2019s an exciting opportunity for a self-driven individual who will be responsible for promoting sales through our website to our Customer network. Responsible for driving profitable sales growth by developing, maintaining and advancing accounts by regularly contacting customers. This position reports to the Director of Marketing & eCommerce. Job responsibilities Assist customers with placing their online orders, while including upselling procedures to achieve a truly great customer experience through real-time calls, emails and live chats Troubleshoot and resolve customer inquiries regarding online orders, passwords, sign-on issues, and other online-related questions. Support sales growth by educating customers on the products, programs and promotions being offered. Seek out new business opportunities making outbound calls to existing or new customers Assist in the design and execution of marketing and sales strategies Collaborate internally for continual process improvements Work with the Director of Marketing & eCommerce to manage and improve customer relations with a section of company\u2019s customer base. Requirements and Education: Degree holder with at least 2 years of working experience Customer Service: 2 years \/ Digital\/Ecommerce: 1 year Self-motivated, results-oriented, meticulous and a team player An independent worker who can multi-task and works well under time pressure Strong communication and interpersonal skills an ability to build relationships Creative, resourceful and digitally savvy Demonstrated proficiency with computers and technology
