Project Manager Jobs
A project manager in a call center is responsible for successful running of one or more projects in the area of customer service, sales, marketing etc. The typical duties of a project manager include supervising a team of call center representatives, hiring new call center representatives, training representatives, evaluating their performance, giving feedbacks, running periodic campaigns, handling escalated calls from call center representatives, participating or giving inputs in preparation of training manuals and policy formulation, and performing other tasks that may arise in performing the above activities. A project manager typically reports to the call center director.
A project manager should have a associate's degree or a bachelor's degree. Several years of progressively responsible experience in a call center environment is essential for a project manager position. Excellent customer service skills are a key trait for this position. Familiarity with MS Word and Excel is essential.
