Customer Call Center Jobs description
Customer call center jobs involve a considerable amount of direct interaction with customers and therefore strong interpersonal skills, good problem solving abilities, and high patience levels are an absolute must.The key responsibilities that people with customer call center jobs handle include taking and processing orders for merchandise or materials, maintaining customer files that include sales contracts and other client information, and a variety of other pre- and post-sales services.
Customer call center jobs require the incumbents to have a working knowledge of computers as updating inventory databases, creating complaint tickets, tracking orders, and so on are also part of the job. Comfort with standard word processing and spreadsheet software such as MS Word and MS Excel would be an advantage.
Good language skills and telephone etiquette are a primary requirement for customer call center jobs.
The pay for an entry-level customer call center job is in the range of $11–14 an hour and there are good opportunities for progress.
