Inside Sales Jobs description
Inside sales openings may be available with telecom companies, banks, pharmaceutical companies, third-party call centers, finance agencies, insurance companies etc.The various inside sales positions include inside sales representative, account executive, telemarketer, inside sales account executive, inside sales manager and inside sales associate. An inside sales professional is responsible for making outbound calls to an available list of prospects, informing about the products, understanding if they require the product or service, explaining the benefits related with the product, handing the objections of the customer, negotiating the rates, closing the deal, meeting and exceeding periodic sales targets. An inside sales rep typically reports to an inside sales manager.
An inside sales rep should have a high school diploma or an associate's degree. Excellent customer service and negotiation skills are essential. Prior experience from an inside sales role is advantageous.
