Call Center Technician Jobs description
A technician position may be available with a call center providing customer service, technical support or running marketing or sales campaigns. The primary responsibility for a technician position is to solve technical problems that arise in a call center. Specific duties include receiving telephone calls from call center representatives, noting down the technical problems faced by call center representatives, visiting their desks, troubleshooting, checking out the software and hardware of the system being used, recording observations, reporting serious problems, recording calls of call center representatives, forwarding specific call recordings when asked for, and performing other tasks assigned by the technical support engineer. A call center technician reports to the technical support engineer.A technician should have an associate\'s degree or a bachelor\'s degree. Strong technical skills are essential. Certification in the area of networking or call center support may be helpful. Prior experience working as a technician is advantageous.
