Call Center Specialist Jobs description
A call center specialist job involves providing consistent quality customer service to both internal and external customers that meets or exceeds company's standards. A call center specialist should actively manage each call by taking ownership of each call to enhance the customer experience and build relationships. A call center specialist will determine customers' needs and recommend company's products to meet those needs; will support the integration activities between the call center system and other IT systems; will facilitate the system administration support and configuration of security profiles in cooperation with the system administrators; and will understand business requirements of customer care department and seek solutions to meet these requirements.A call center specialist job requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Additionally for call center specialist, Microsoft Excel - beginner level is preferred. A call center specialist job requires 2+ years of sales experience, preferably in a telemarketing or call center type environment. A call center specialist must be flexible with hours, including some weekends. Strong sales skills, effective telephone skills, strong PC skills and accurate typing, basic math skills essential, excellent communication skills, and demonstrated problem solving skills are required.
