We are also taking jobs from every employer site and job site we can find and putting them on our site.

Whether you are seeking a new job, a better job, more job security, a dramatically increased income, a more flexible job, more responsibility — CallCenterCrossing can help you get there faster and more effectively than any other source.

3 Ways to Find a Call Center Job

Call center jobs are some of the best–kept secrets in the job-hunting world. Even in these troubled economic times, turnover rates on these jobs tend to be so high that the companies are always eager to see new faces waving resumes on their doorsteps, and it is fairly easy to get hired if you are qualified, even if you know little to nothing about the industry prior to starting your new job. Now, when I said turnover rates were high, I did not mean that this is a difficult job to keep. That is far from the truth in fact.

The King of the Call Center: The Call Center Director

So you want to be a call center director:
1. ''Gain the required experience to become a call center director by getting at least one year of management experience in a call center or customer service work environment. While a college degree in business management, accounting, or finance may be helpful in getting your resume noticed, many call centers prefer to promote someone from within who understands their specific way of doing business.

Could CallCenterCrossing Possibly be More Different from Other Job Sites?

CallCenterCrossing Other Sites
CALLCENTERCROSSING GIVES YOU THE MOST QUALITY JOB OPPORTUNITIES
Did the job site* add more than 448,395 new call center jobs today? Yes   Huh?
Does the job site* list 100% of Fortune 500 and 1000 jobs? Yes   No
Does the job site* wait to be contacted by an employer looking to purchase classified advertising on its site? No   Yes
Does the job site* offer live phone support? Yes   Maybe
Does the job site* offer an exclusive, members-only subscription to weed out stray job surfers? Yes   Maybe. But we're going to charge employers to be on our site too! How cool is that!
CALLCENTERCROSSING IS A TRUSTED NAME AND A TRACK RECORD OF SUCCESS
Is the job site* the number one source relied upon by recruiting firms to find jobs for their own candidates? Yes   No
Does the job site* have thousands of online testimonials from call center professionals who used it to get their jobs? Yes   Possibly
WE ACTIVELY SEEK CALL CENTER JOB OPENINGS ON YOUR BEHALF: OTHER SITES CHARGE EMPLOYERS TO POST JOBS ON THEIR SITE
Does the job site* actively seek call center job openings on your behalf? Yes   No
Does the job site* monitor every call center job opening in the world that it can find and tell you about them without charging employers to appear on its site? Yes   No
Does the job site* spend 100% of its efforts researching and updating call center job openings and 0% of its efforts selling classified ads and advertising on its site? Yes   No
CALLCENTERCROSSING CARES ABOUT YOU MORE THAN OTHER SITES: OTHER SITES DO NOT SHOW YOU ALL THE JOBS THEY CAN FIND AND "HIDE" JOBS FROM YOU
Charge for employers to list their job openings? No   Of course
Is the job site* dedicated to you and not employers? Yes   Nope
Is the job site* a research company and not a sales company? Yes   Research?
Does the job site* keep your information private and not sell resume access? Yes   Let us sell people to look at your resume!

* While we use the term "job site" to refer to our competitors, it is important to note that CallCenterCrossing is not a "job site" in the traditional sense of the word. Job sites charge employers and advertisers to post jobs there. In contract, CallCenterCrossing is a research service that goes out and finds jobs everywhere it can. CallCenterCrossing does not accept any advertising or money from employers.

We Admit It: We Have The Most Serious Marketing Problem In The American Career Industry

WHY YOU MOST LIKELY WILL NOT SIGN UP FOR CALLCENTERCROSSING

We would like you to know that you probably will not sign up for CallCenterCrossing. You are going to need to do your own sales job by poking around our website and we are not going to be able to sell you on using the service. In fact, we gave up advertising years ago. Frankly, we have no idea how to sell anything because we are a research company and not experienced with selling stuff. You are going to have to sell yourself on what we do because we will not be able to do it for you.

Using various analytics, we have found that less than 1 in 100 people who visit our website ever signs up for our service. What we do is so unusual and different from what anyone else in the market is doing that most people are, quite frankly, too clueless of what we do and never even take the time to understand what we do. CALLCENTERCROSSING IS SO DIFFERENT FROM THE WAY EVERYONE HAS BEEN "BRAINWASHED" TO SEARCH FOR A JOB THAT MOST PEOPLE WHO HAVE NOT USED THE SITE ARE EXTREMELY SUSPICIOUS OF IT AND CALL IT WORDS LIKE "SCAM" AND SO FORTH.

1. The greatest problem with CallCenterCrossing is that people believe that you should not have to pay to look at jobs. (CallCenterCrossing charges a fee to access its research.) The common statement we hear over and over again is: "You should never have to pay to look for a job."

This statement typically is something that the most uneducated and unenlightened members of society pass around with abandon because they simply never "open up" their minds enough to understand what we do: CallCenterCrossing is a job aggregation service and we research jobs from every single source we can find and put them all in one place. This is the reason there is a fee, because we are doing work on your behalf. We are not an employment agency. We are not a job board like Monster, Indeed, and so forth that charges employers to be there. We are a research company.

While we wish everyone understood what we do, the only people who flock to our site in droves and use it are people who understand the value of research and the sorts of people most people would call "bookish" and maybe even words like "nerd" and "dork"—in fact, our research shows most of our users have masters degrees (or higher). Our legal site LawCrossing, for example, is the most popular legal job site in America despite the fact that we charge a monthly fee. Lawyers research things for a living and they understand the value of research and our site.

We wish more than anything that "cool people" and not just those who do research for a living took the time to understand what we do at CallCenterCrossing, because our service could help them tremendously. We believe people should understand why it is smart to pay for job opening research.

Nonetheless, because you probably will never understand what we do you will almost certainly not sign up for CallCenterCrossing. The result may be that you do not find the job that is the best fit for you, or you do not find a job at all, you may be depressed, not earn the money you want, etc. However, in almost all certainty you will follow the crowd and not sign up.

2. The second marketing problem with CallCenterCrossing is that most of the public has been "brainwashed" by a dizzying array of expensive advertising campaigns to believe that the best way to look for a job is on sites like CareerBuilder, Monster, HotJobs, and so forth and are reluctant to try something new—especially when, as with CallCenterCrossing, there is a fee involved.

You are familiar with Tide laundry detergent, for example, so you are more likely to purchase this—a "brand name"—when you go to the store than something you are not that familiar with. If there was a laundry detergent that was 100x more effective than Tide you probably would never hear about it unless that company blew its own horn and spent tens of millions of dollars to get the word out. CallCenterCrossing is a job aggregation/research company and not a marketing company and we are the first to admit we have done a lousy job branding our product. It is pretty hard to go out to the market and proclaim "Research is Cool!" and get the general public excited about it.

Virtually every job site you are familiar with—Monster, HotJobs, SimplyHired, Indeed, TheLadders, CareerBuilder-(and every site that we know about) is nothing other than a "gatekeeper" for jobs. They set up a website and then charge employers to post jobs there or feature jobs there.

To drive users and applicants to the site they then go out and come up with catchy slogans and logos to (1) get employers to post jobs and (2) to get people to apply to those jobs. They then get giant sales staffs to track down employers willing to pay to post. We actually think job boards like this are evil. At CallCenterCrossing all we do is research jobs and we research them from every other job site we can find, employer sites and others. Looking at jobs on our website is like looking at jobs from 50,000+ websites and it could change your career and life. Without a doubt, using CallCenterCrossing is the most effective way to find a job.

3. The third problem with CallCenterCrossing is a legion of self-proclaimed experts out in the market (people who have never used our site, recruiters with an interest in keeping you in the dark about where the jobs are) who, when asked their opinion of CallCenterCrossing, will not even bother to try the site before attacking it, or giving you a negative opinion of it or calling it a "scam" because it is so different from everything out there, costs money, and so forth.

Most people who have never tried CallCenterCrossing are so narrow minded that they refuse to be educated and understand the very logical insights that make CallCenterCrossing the most effective job site there is.

Recruiters like to attack our site: Recruiters make their living off of finding jobs in obscure places and then posting "blind" advertisements where they do not give you the identity of the employer unless you agree to allow them to represent you for the job. Did you know recruiters may charge an employer up to 50% of your annual salary if you get hired through them? What sort of incentive do you think this gives the typical employer to hire you? You will undoubtedly find people suspicious of what a site like CallCenterCrossing does because people are always nervous when something challenges what they know.

Our value proposition is simple: We show you jobs from every single job site and employer website we can find. It seems axiomatic that if you have access to more jobs you are going to be able to get more interviews, job offers, and be better off doesn't it? We think so. We fail to understand how even though this is so simple it could be so widely attacked.

HERE IS THE ONLY WAY WE KNOW YOU CAN OVERCOME OUR SERIOUS MARKETING AND PUBLIC IMAGE PROBLEMS AT CALLCENTERCROSSING

1. To get over the "I should never have to pay to look for a job" problem we recommend that you try our RISK FREE seven day trial. You can try our site for free for seven days and if you do not like it then you can cancel your subscription. If you cancel we will not try to keep you as a member by sending you emails convincing you to come back and so forth—we do not know how to do this sort of thing. Just cancel and there will be no questions asked.

Once you are in your risk free trial and using our site we are not going to do anything to try and convince you to stay on either. We will just do what we know how to do which is research jobs. We will show you the jobs we find every day, and that is it. We will not try and sell you a resume service or anything else for that matter. We do not even have any ads on our site because we are a research service. We hope you like our site and that you choose to stay on after your trial, but it is entirely up to you.

You are going to need to sell yourself on using our site because we do not know how do sell you and even if we did we would screw it up and look stupid. We are a research company and not an advertising and marketing company like other job boards. We recommend that you do tons of searches on our site and see what results you get during your seven day trial. Prior to using our site, you can read various testimonials online on our site and elsewhere and you can probably find some unintelligent negative statements about CallCenterCrossing in our testimonials from people who have not even used CallCenterCrossing. We recommend you review it all.

2. To deal with the issue that our site is not as "well branded" as our competitors like Monster, CareerBuilder, and so forth we are not sure what to do. Since we do not do any advertising this issue has left us scratching our heads many times. The public, in general, has a lot more trust in things that spend a ton of money on advertising compared to things that do not.

Unfortunately, we are a research company and we have no idea how to compete with the likes of Monster, CareerBuilder, Indeed, theLadders, HotJobs, and people like that because these are separate businesses than us. Their specialty is selling job postings to employers and advertising their job site to make sure the companies posting their ads get their money's worth (by driving hundreds of applicants to each job). Our specialty is researching job openings and we do not charge employers to post jobs on our site. To overcome many of these objections, we recommend that you read our piece "Public Versus Private Job Boards" because we are a private research company that makes its research available to its members, unlike our competition that shows its jobs to anyone with an Internet connection.

3. We think our biggest problem are the numerous "experts" out there who have never used CallCenterCrossing but are quick to tell you it will "never work". Many people insist that CallCenterCrossing could not possibly be better than anything else out there because "all job sites are the same" and similar sorts of statements. We do not believe that all job sites are the same at all. In fact, CallCenterCrossing is incredibly different than anything out there because it consolidates jobs from every job site and every employer website it can find while other job sites just show you what jobs employers pay to post there. CallCenterCrossing is a research company and not a job sales company and is different than anything out there.

"EXPERTS," YOUR FRIENDS, RECRUITERS, BUREAUCRATS INSIDE OF CAREER COUNSELING, UNEMPLOYMENT, AND CAREER SERVICES OFFICES ARE EXTREMELY MISTAKEN. Almost every "expert" out there is someone who will do everything within their power to protect the status quo because if things change so too may their own sense of security, employment, or otherwise.

The reasoning of most of these people is "I do not want to waste any time investigating anything that differs from what I believe and have come to know is true. If it conflicts with what I believe then I am confident it is evil, untrue, or not to be trusted." This reasoning is, of course, nonsensical but you need to understand that if you were them you would be thinking the same way too: Many people have spent decades learning how to get people jobs a certain way and anything that threatens their sense of security is often attacked.

The few "experts" who have tried CallCenterCrossing and dared to be different and have used the site, have generally become instant converts; they use the site themselves, recommend it to others, and so forth. We believe that our RISK FREE trial makes it easy for you to understand what we are talking about and why the site is so effective.
